Click here to donate online! Our Foundation is a 501c3 charitable, nonprofit corporation established in 1987 and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Litzenberg Health Care Foundation received an estate gift of over $200,000 from Earl Eugene & Aline Clare McHargue. An endowment fund has been established in memory of Earl's parents, Earl & Pearl McHargue to benefit the hospital now and into the future. Our basic mission is to provide Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital, Long Term Care and Merrick Manor with supplemental income for capital, operating and program needs essential to its growth and development. The Foundation is dedicated to the support of the programs and projects that will expand and enhance health care, education and other health-related services throughout the area. Gifts can be received in many forms: cash, pledges, wills, life insurance and annuities are some examples. To keep pace with important changes affecting all rural hospitals, Litzenberg Health Care Foundation is accepting endowments to help finance present and future programs and services. Donor recognition boards hang in the hospital lobby as a grateful and public thank you to all our many contributors.
